This stunning breastplate is carved from New Zealand Abalone (Paua) and has a resin back to minimize breakages; though care should still be taken when wearing and handling this beautiful taonga.
A physical and symbolic sign of both strength and protection, with a large koru in the center that symbolizes creation, growth, regeneration, and new beginnings.
